Xbox 360’s Final Fantasy XIII Likely To Be On Three DVDs
With Final Fantasy XIII coming to the Xbox 360, it’s been an open question of how many discs it would end up filling. Now Square Enix has an answer which should make Xbox 360 owners fairly happy.
Speaking at GamesCom (via Joystiq), Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase said, “This isn’t the final count yet, but we’re aiming for about three discs.”
To compare, Lost Odyssey shipped on four dual layer DVDs in 2008. Square Enix said they are working to compress as much as possible, but to still keep the quality high.
Final Fantasy XIII will be launching on the Xbox 360 and PS3 simultaneously in North America. Look for it sometime next Spring.
