LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias Confirmed
When Nintendo launched the WiiWare good last year, LostWinds immediately emerged as an unexpected gem — a platformer that enjoyably used change of place controls to allow you to use wind power to aid in confound solving. So after earning critical acclaim, it’s no surprise Frontier is operating on a sequel: LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias.
Edge has the preview adhering the new game in their latest issue, but N-Europe has passed simultaneously a few juicy excerpts. For starters, the game will feature a renovated mechanic where returning hero Toku can change the season between summer and winter, depending on which will better aid him at the time. Other renovated features are the added ability to swim, a new wind strength that creates a cyclone that can drill into rocks and help up water, and a new in-game map and hint a whole .
It seems as though no release date for the game was announced, but considering the heavy winter theme, let’s hope a winter relinquish could be in the cards.
