Leon and Krauser Reunite (?) in RE: Darkside Chronicles

Jack Krauser, the stingy who looked so smart in a red beret during Resident Evil 4, is back. Even in a more excellent way: he’s your partner.

It’s all part of Capcom’s Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, the Umbrella Chronicles close that once again dives into Resident Evil’s history and explores bits of the fabrication that were previously left untold. One of the original scenarios in Darkside features Krauser and RE4 illustrious personage Leon S. Kennedy in the year 2002, two years before the events of RE4. They’re mute partners at this point — Krauser doesn’t have the scar in this way prominent in RE4 quite yet, either — and they’ve been sent to examine a zombie outbreak in a small South American village.

Nobody knows which’s going on in this village, save for the fact that in that place’s only one survivor — Manuela, a young girl in a ripped, disposition-stained dress. She’ll likely play an important role in this delegation, but exactly what that’ll be remains unknown.

The Darkside Chronicles, developed ~ the agency of Cavia for the Wii, is due out November 17 in the US and sometime this winter in Japan.
