Fumito Ueda Wants To See ICO and Shadow of the Colossus on PS3
As function of an interview at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Team ICO conductor Fumito Ueda took time to answer a few questions provided by the 1UP community, and the most popular of these was whether we puissance see his games ICO and Shadow of the Colossus released up~ PlayStation 3 in a combo pack similar to Sony’s upcoming God of War Collection.
When asked, Ueda related he’s all for the idea, and that he’d like to put in operation the games on PS3 (as well as on PSP). “Initially, I didn’t necessity to consider that,” he pointed out. “I always thought they were designed despite PS2 and should stay there. But lately, I’ve been opinion it would be nice to provide the games to other platforms to ruse more users.”
Ultimately, however, it seems that a re-release would strait support from Sony executives. Presumably the same ones that decided to set free the God of War Collection after hearing a lot of uphold for the idea from fans online, so if you want to call on ICO and Shadow of the Colossus in HD, now would exist the time to start talking up the idea.
